Bad Auditions – 3 Habits You Need To Break

I Say This With Love

My frustration in this video is very real (lol), but the advice is just as real. These tips can really give you an edge over your competition ;)

1) Don’t preface your performance with excuses!

2) It’s ok to FEEL nervous, but it’s not ok to LOOK nervous.

3) Follow instructions, and be prepared.
Bonus: The proper response to a compliment is, “Thank You”.

…folks can be talented and smart and unaware and unprofessional at the same time. It’s a good message (said for the right reasons) Drill Sargent Arceneaux! ;-)

You are too funny to me. “These are the following reasons why I am going to suck.” If you dont mind I am going to have to borrow that one off of you. This is soo true, sad, but true.

Thank you so much for these tips. The sad thing is I probably wasn’t picked for a show because of one of them…But now that I am fully aware of what I did wrong, my next audition will be a lot more successful. God Bless:)
